Project Description and Objectives:

The main objective of the UVPoint project is the investigation and development of an innovative and advanced solution for direct application in passenger or cargo vehicles, such as ambulances, vehicles used for public transportation of passengers, such as Ubers, taxis and other types of public transportation, among others, in order to respond to one of the current weaknesses identified in existing decontamination solutions.

Through UVPoint, Aspöck will put on the market an unparalleled product for easy installation inside vehicles (roof, for disinfection in the general vehicle area; luggage compartment, for disinfection of any type of cargo; glove box, for disinfection of small objects, namely, keys and other things). LEDs or lamps are used here that, through the emission of ultraviolet radiation, specifically UVC, have the capacity to carry out complete disinfection and decontamination in a period of less than 15 minutes, eliminating more than 90% of the existing viral charge.
