Review IAA 2026
23. Sep. 2026At the IAA Transportation 2026, we presented our innovative solutions for the next generation of vehicle lighting in Hall 26, Stand D21.
A particular highlight was our own Aspöck trailer in the outdoor exhibition area at Stand H66. There, visitors were able to experience our products in action and gain a first-hand impression of our lighting solutions and system concepts.
Our FlexLED concept takes second place at the International Trailer Award 2027
Another highlight of the IAA was the recognition of our FlexLED concept at the International Trailer Award 2027. In the Community Choice category, our concept was voted into second place. With our FlexLED product range, we are pursuing a clear approach: we no longer view lighting solely as a separate add-on component, but as an integral part of the vehicle architecture. With the FlexLED Rear Lighting Module, we are consistently extending this concept to the rear of the trailer. The particularly compact design enables the lighting to be discreetly integrated into the vehicle structure, thereby creating new design possibilities for trailer manufacturers and vehicle bodybuilders. Our guiding principle here is: Maximum illuminated area with minimum installation space. The award at the International Trailer Award demonstrates that our approach is also attracting interest within the international trailer industry and that, with FlexLED, we are breaking new ground in trailer lighting.
49 years of Aspöck Systems
On 17 September 2026, there was also a special reason to celebrate at the IAA: 49 years of Aspöck Systems. For almost five decades, we have been developing innovative lighting solutions and continuously driving technical progress forward. With technologies such as FlexLED, we are consistently continuing along this path, combining functionality, design and vehicle architecture to create future-oriented system solutions.
The IAA Transportation 2026 therefore offered us not only the opportunity to showcase our latest products and innovations, but also to demonstrate how we are helping to shape the future of trailer lighting.
