Project Description and Objectives:
The project aims to expand the IIOT network by installing sensors and introducing artificial intelligence technology in end-of-line testers in the assembly area, creating a traceability system on the assembly lines that allows a product footprint to be created, and the introduction of Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) technology as a way of optimizing logistics flows, reducing lead times, and providing permanent real-time control of product inventories.
In this context, the project seeks to increase the transformation of Aspöck into a smart factory capable of monitoring all production processes in real time for the management and anticipation of operational problems and communication between machines, based on big data and machine learning. This will make it possible to optimize operations and flows, making them more efficient and effective (increasingly enhancing machines and equipment with artificial vision, VGA, digital twins, augmented reality, and predictive maintenance), improve the automation and compliance of information gathering processes, reduce costs with traditional data collection and retrieval processes, increase worker safety, reduce production waste, create a product quality guarantee, increase Aspöck's competitiveness and productivity, and strengthen its position in the market as one of the largest players in lightning (lighting for motor vehicles) nationally and globally.
